The U480 vertical 5-axis machining center adds A and C rotary axes to the standard X, Y, Z linear axes, allowing the tool to approach the workpiece from multiple angles and orientations in a single clamping. Parts that are difficult or impossible on conventional 3-axis machines – impellers, blades, propellers, precision mold cores – are completed in one setup, without repositioning errors.
